About All About Floors

All About Floors is a family-run flooring company working out of a showroom on Mustang Court in Forney. Thirty years in the trade, and still the same approach: turn up when we say we will, use our own crews, and tell you plainly what a floor will and won't do in your house.

Most of what we fit goes into homes across Kaufman and Rockwall counties and out through the wider Dallas metro. Some of it is a single room. Some of it is a whole house before a family moves in. Either way you deal with the same people from the first estimate to the last piece of trim.

Jamie Milligan owns the business. Her first career was nursing, a Bachelor of Science from UT Arlington, and she is fairly direct about the fact that flooring was not the plan. What carried across was the part she liked most about the job: looking after people properly while something stressful is happening in their life. A house torn up for a week counts.

The trade knowledge came with the crew. Monty spent twenty years in automotive finance and sales management in Dallas before twenty more in flooring, which is an unusual combination and a useful one, he is as comfortable explaining a finance option as he is explaining why your subfloor needs levelling first. Wendy has fourteen years in tile and flooring and the design eye that goes with it; she is the one who talks people out of the safe choice when there is a better one sitting on the next sample board.

The installation crew has been with the business roughly twenty years. That is the single most important thing on this page. Flooring is a trade where the difference between a good job and a bad one is almost entirely down to who is kneeling on your subfloor, and most companies of this size subcontract that out to whoever is available that week. We don't. The people who fit your floor are the people we have worked alongside for two decades, and they are the reason we are comfortable putting a one-year labor warranty on everything we do.
